2016 started with a unique mural project in New York...

if these walls could talk (room 1d)

Mural, writing and music project at THE CARLTON ARMS HOTEL, NEW YORK NY
This hotel that has seen around 150 years of bad behaviour - and Room 1D fits right in

Video interviews with staff revealed the history of a wee man named Mike who lived in the room for about 25 years.  The story that unfolded formed the basis of the graphic novel-style mural covering the room, and the lyrics to a song performed at the launch - but there is so much more to tell that it'll have to be a graphic novel.  Much to be revealed in the coming months...for now, let's just say:

"On some level, we are all that little man going out for a bagel and coffee."
